PROJECT DETAIL

COQ hibi
Connect, continue, breathe.

Kanako Kajihara creates pieces from leftover and waste fabrics she finds when visiting manufacturers and suppliers, then introduces them as patchwork garments in COQ hibi.

Our shirt designs are unique and produced in limited collections, mixing one-of-a-kind textures, colors, and patterns.

We believe that production waste can become unique and enjoyable things if we change our mindset and treat discarded materials as valuable resources. Just like nature, which is in a constant state of transformation, circular manufacturing needs to be a responsive reaction to environmental changes and needs.

To reduce production waste within the textile industry, we built a manufacturing system that utilizes leftover fabrics and yarns. Our upcycled garments and patchwork pieces compose the heart of COQ hibi collection.
